Knit Your Own Moustache

‘Knit Your Own Moustache’ is my first published work. It’s a pattern book for those most vital of items – disguises. There are twenty pieces in here for you to knit and crochet, from the trusty Wife of Brian beards and moustaches, to bunny ears, a bald cap and a blonde pigtail wig.
It is available in a variety of high street and online shops and you can also buy a signed copy from me here.
‘Knit Your Own Moustache’ is now also available as an ebook, so you can download it and be knitting within minutes. Pick up a kindle version here, or search for it on iBooks and other providers.

Reviews of ‘Knit Your Own Moustache’:
“This funky little book is full of quirky knits, from the eponymous moustaches to bunny rabbit ears and even a ‘dapper dandy set’, which includes a top hat, pipe and monocle! Even if you don’t knit anything from this book, it’s a fun thing to have on your coffee table to show your friends that knitting can be cool.” – Knit Now Magazine (June 2013)
“There are endless possibilities for your copy of Knit Your Own Moustache, and having a ready-to-go fancy dress shop in your yarn stash is never not going to come in handy. Many of the disguises are quick knits and, while small, will gain you extra points for being handmade. And even better – if you love a bit of hooking, or are expecting just to knit your own moustache, the book is a happy blend of crochet and knitting patterns, so there’s something for everyone.” – Crafty Magazine (June 2013)
“In Knit Your Own Moustache, Vicky Eames (aka Wife of Brian) has come up with a hilarious collection from beards, wigs and moustaches to a bandit mask, pipe and monocle, and even a paper bag for the ultimate disguise! You can knit your own Groucho mask, too. The designs are perfect for fancy dress, kids’ parties and school plays. There are 20 patterns in total, all of which use DK yarn, so you can knit enough to have the whole family in stitches. Techniques are basic, making these great little projects for beginners and really fun for helping children learn to knit.” – Simply Knitting Magazine (June 2013)
“Perfect for yarnbombing disguises, fancy dress or the follically challenged, Knit Your Own Moustache is the latest quirky offering from Vicky Eames. This brilliant book is packed with hilarious projects including beards, moustaches, wigs, glasses, and even a bald head, so you can change your appearance in a flash!” – Knit Today Magazine (June 2013)
